Patrons
The Hon. Dominic Elliot
Mr. Elliot is the second son of the 5th Earl of Minto. He lived for many years in St. James’s, being Chairman of the Resident’s Society and founding the St. James’s Conservation Trust, with Mr. Beveridge in 1998, becoming its first Chairman. He resigned as Trustee, becoming a Patron in 2003, when he moved from St. James’s to Wiltshire. |

The Lady Olga Maitland
Lady Helen Olga Hay, better known by her political name Lady Olga Maitland. The daughter of Patrick Maitland, 17th Earl of Lauderdale.
She has had a career as a Fleet St Columnist and Member of Parliament with special interest in education, defence and foreign affairs.
Founder and President of the Defence & Security Forum and CEO International Association of Money Transfer Networks since 2005. |

Mr John Beveridge QC
Mr Beveridge, founded the Trust, with The Hon. Mr. Dominic Elliot in 1998, then being vice Chairman. He has been Chairman since 2003 and has taken an active interest in running the Trust. He is a retired Queen's Counsel and has lived in St. James’s for over 30 years. He is a member of various St. James’s Clubs and a Freeman of the City of London. |

Mr Richard Donaldson FCIOBS
Richard Donaldson has been a Trustee of The St James’s Conservation Trust since its inception in 1998 and has been Vice Chairman since 2003. Based at King Street in St James’s, he is a Director of 17 years of the Private Bank, Adam & Company plc, (a member of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group). His previous career was at Hambros Bank Limited. |

Mr Jeremy Vaughan
Jeremy has been a Trustee since 2003. He is an Associate Director of Adam & Company. Jeremy has been a banker since 1979 and based in St James's for most of that time (previously, with Hill Samuel). Jeremy’s particular banking interests are the art market and property sectors. |

Mr Hugh Johnson OBE
Mr. Johnson is a writer on trees and on wine and between 1990 and 2000 owned a wine glass and silver shop in St James’s Street. He has been a resident of St. James’s since 1984 and is an Honorary Doctor of the University of Essex, a Chevalier de L’Ordre National du Merite and an Honorary Liveryman of the Vintners Company. |

Mr Andrew Love FCA
Mr. Love has been a trustee since 2006. A chartered accountant, his career has been in the leisure industry since the 1960’s. He is Chairman of The Ritz Club and Deputy Chairman of The Ritz Hotel, Chairman of the Casino Operators Association and a Freeman of the City of London. |

Alexander Nicoll FRSA
Alexander Nicoll served as a Councillor for St James’s Ward on Westminster City Council for 16 years, standing down in 2010. He was Lord Mayor of Westminster during 2006 – 2007. He is Director of Corporate Responsibility for Capital Shopping Centres Group PLC, the FTSE100 real estate business. He is a member of The Travellers Club.

Mr Brian Woodham MCMI
Mr. Woodham served for thirty years in the Royal Marines. In addition to Commando service, he saw naval service in the Arabian Gult after specializing as an Arabic Interpreter. He worked for Vosper Thornycroft (UK)Ltd, the warship builders for 17 years, mainly in the Middle East. He was appointed as the Administrator to the Trust in 2003.
The Trust is fortunate enough to be able to give frequent and significant entertainments, with the purpose of promoting its charitable objects, always at the expense of some generous supporter. The Trust does not pay for its entertainments and Trustees claim neither fees nor expenses. |
